About
Honduras Health Horizons was founded to build on the work done through the SUNY Fredonia study abroad program in Honduras. That program takes undergraduate students to Honduras to conduct primary care medical brigades in rural communities.
Our work supports and expands the student program to run additional brigades, continues work with other groups on providing clean water to homes in rural villages, and supports the work of our hosts in providing assistance to those rural Honduran villages.
We are an all volunteer organization, focusing on working with colleagues in the US and Honduras to provide health care and clean water in Honduras, and educational opportunities in service learning.
